What is Vivatar go?

Vivatar go is a wireless emergency call button that connects to your mobile phone via Bluetooth. With the push of a button, help can be requested more quickly in the event of an emergency, without opening the app.

What can I do with the Vivatar go?

The Vivatar go offers three functions:

- Press once: When your phone is connected to the Vivatar go, it will play a sound and vibrate. That's how you can find it easily.

- Press twice: Start the 2-minute danger countdown if you feel insecure. Your emergency team will be kept up to date via SMS and will receive your location. If you are a premium customer, your mobile phone will automatically try to call the Bosch Emergency Assistant after the countdown.

- Press for three seconds: As a premium customer, you can call the Bosch Emergency Assistant directly in a dangerous situation.

Do I need a premium subscription to use the Vivatar go?

No, even as a basic customer you can find your phone with a single click on the Vivatar go and start the 2-minute danger countdown with a double click. If you are a premium customer, call the Bosch Emergency Assistant either after expiration of the emergency countdown or directly with a three seconds click.

My Vivatar go does not connect to the Vivatar app. What should I do?

1. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.

2. Hold the Vivatar go for 7 seconds and try connecting it to your smartphone again.

Can I connect the Vivatar go to any smartphone?

Vivatar go is compatible with Android and iOS.

Can the Vivatar go also be delivered abroad?

No, unfortunately we only deliver within Germany (except Helgoland and Büsing).

Is the Vivatar go waterproof?

No, the Vivatar go is not waterproof. However, it is protected against splashes of water on all sides (IP54).

How does the Vivatar go connect to my smartphone?

Vivatar go uses Bluetooth to communicate with your phone. Therefore, make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. In the Vivatar app you can connect your Vivatar go to your smartphone via the "Menu", under "Manage Devices".

Is it necessary to have my smartphone next to me if I want to use the vivatar go button?

Vivatar go works up to 50 meters away from your smartphone.

Can I share my Vivatar go with friends and family?

Yes, you can share your Vivatar go with friends and family. Condition is that they own an Android smartphone and have the Vivatar app installed.

Can I connect my Vivatar go to a second smartphone?

No, the Vivatar go can only be connected to one smartphone at the same time.

How can I recognize if the battery is empty?

In the device section of the app you will see a battery indicator. The battery lasts for about 700 clicks.

My Vivatar go blinks "red" - what does that mean?

The Vivatar go flashes red when you click it as long as it is not connected to a smartphone.

My Vivatar go is glowing red constantly. What does this mean?

Your Vivatar go should be exchanged.

Where can I find the serial number?

The serial number can be found as a sticker on the underside of the Vivatar go and on the back of the packaging. It consists of 12 characters and begins with the letters "RT". The abbreviation "SN" can be seen near the serial number.

Is there a guarantee for the Vivatar go?

The warranty period is 24 months. The battery of the Vivatar go has a warranty of 6 months.

How can I stick the Vivatar go?

Vivatar go can be stuck on your clothes with the clip or your keychain etc. With the adhesive film on the back of the button it can be attached to objects like a bicycle or a car.

The Connection between my Vivatar go and my smartphone gets constantly interrupted. What can I do?

What should I do if my Vivatar go is faulty?

Please contact our Customer Service at support@vivatar.com and provide your serial and invoice number.

How do I know that my Vivatar go has successfully connected to my smartphone / Vivatar app?

You can test the Vivatar go anytime in the app. For this you open the Vivatar app and go to "Manage devices" in the menu. Choose your Vivatar go. Here you can try your Vivatar go.

My smartphone battery has discharged. After recharging and restarting, my Vivatar go does not connect to my smartphone. What can I do?

Open the Vivatar app. Please remove and install you Vivatar go again.
